  1. How far from the window trench heating should be install?

    It is recommended that the distance between the trench heating Verano Convector from the outside barrier (the glass) was 20 to 30 cm.

  2. What are the ways to control trench heating?

    The control of the trench heating is generally used by thermostatic valves and thermostatic control units. Thermostatic valve should be installed on the heating element inside the trench, while the control unit on the wall in a heated room. The valve and controller are connected by capillaries, which must be in the wall inside the conduit.

  3. What can be capillary length?

    In our offer we have 2m long.

  4. Which side the fan of the trench heater should be placed - window side or room side?

    Fan assisted trench heater (VKN5) should be placed in a manner to keep fan to the window side, however 2 pipe or 4 pipe Climaconvector should be assembled to keep the fan always to the room-side.

  5. Can we place a thermostatic heads inside the trench?

    Do not install the thermostatic head inside the trench. This way will prevent the achievement of the relevant temperature (temperature measurement will not be credible) and cause difficult access to it.

  6. What standard trench heating include?

    The standard equipment of trench heating is:

    • galvanised tub (casing)

    • copper and aluminum heat exchanger

    • deaerating valve

    • levelling brackets for heater h ≤ 16cm

    • separating bulkhead for heaters h ≥ 16 cm

    Grille, thermostatic valve, thermostatic controller are not part of the standard equipment of the trench heating.

  7. Is there a possibility to make customized radiators?

    Yes – it is possible to make an individual project like a non standard lenghts.

  8. Is there a possibility to make a LST radiator in a low level radiator version?

    Yes, it is possible with few types:

    • LST radiator 23 cm high, type: Clasic 22 and Grande 23

    • All low level radiators can be make in a LST radiator version

  9. What is a difference between Clasic and Quatro types?

    The difference between the Clasic and Quatro radiators lies in the fact that the Quatro radiator, while maintaining the same dimensions of the housing as a Classic type, has a higher thermal efficiency. This is achieved through double heat exchanger.

  10. In case of whole walls of glass, on which side you are proposing placing heat exchanger: from the window or the room?

    In case when the main source of heat loss in the room are windows, the trench heating is mounted that the heat exchanger is situated on the room side.

  11. How to adjust the temperature in the room for several trench heating located under the outer glass wall, when it is not possible to use several thermostatic heads on the wall?

    In areas where are located at least two trench heating, install thermostatic valve VDN215 with thermal servo-motor STA. The above mentioned elements connect to the room temperature controller RDG. Connection to the controller should be taken according to the wiring diagram. The actuators must be connected in parallel.

  12. What should be the length of the trench heating placed under a window or patio door?

    It is recommended that the length of the trench heating is equal to or greater than the length of the glass surface.
