The new building of the Jagiellonian University, Department of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science will consist of nine segments, connected by passage. The building will occupy an area of over 26 000 m2 and will accommodate:
- educational facilities,
- computer and science laboratories,
- administration offices.
The project started in September 2010 and will end in the spring of 2014. The first eight months were reserved for the design work. The object will be built on the campus of the 600th anniversary of the Restoration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
The value of the project is 126 999 591.24 PLN net (154 501.2 939 PLN gross). Realization of the investment for the Jagiellonian University is the next project in the segment of educational objects carried by the Krakow Branch of HOCHTIEF Poland. In the period 2003 - 2008 the company performed three stages of the Krakow Academy name of Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski. Rooms are heated by low level water convector radiators Verano Convector.
