120 Aldersgate Street

Another Verano UK Trench Heating installation was completed in October 2020 at 120 Aldersgate Street, within a short stroll from Barbican Underground Station and equally so from the new Cross Rail Station at Farringdon.

There are several other Verano UK Trench Heating installations nearby at 148 Old Street, The Bower 207 Old Street and 15 Bonhill Street. 1120 Aldersgate is a refurbishment project for Legal and General UK Property Fund by Main Contractor Collins Construction Ltd, plus their M&E Subcontractor. The M&E Consultant had specified and used Verano UK on one or two other projects before.

The building was previously occupied by Skansa and Skanska RW M&E Contractors. At one point post tender and during the contract stage the Client considered trying to salvage the old existing Trench Heating that was there. However, the decision was finally taken to replace it all, as it was too far gone and damaged and the grilles were in bad condition.
