World Ocean Museum
The World Ocean Museum in Kaliningrad/Russia is considered as a dedicated knowledge hub for historical development of the oceans worldwide. This place also aggregates R&D works concerning this subject. The R&D achievements and historical stories are presented exactly on board of in house installed mock-ups of the battle ships. The most significant display of all ships is the one called VITAYZ, but also it is worth to see many others such as ship named: “Spaceman Viktor Pacajew”, submarine and “water glide jet”. In the museum there are also displayed undersea water tanks, coral and seashells collections yet also geological and paleontological samples.
